Bookings and Payments:
- All quotations are issued in South African Rand (ZAR) and remain valid for 30 days.
- A 20% deposit is required within 7 days of booking confirmation.
The remaining balance must be paid 6 weeks before arrival.
Banking details will be provided upon confirmation of the quotation.
Madlela Safaris reserves the right to decline any booking.
Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. Cancellation fees are as follows:
- 90 days or more prior: 5% of the deposit forfeited.
- 60–90 days prior: 10% of the deposit forfeited.
- 30–60 days prior: 20% of deposit forfeited.
- 14–30 days prior: 30% of the deposit forfeited.
- 7–14 days prior: 50% of deposit forfeited.
- Less than 7 days/no-show: 100% of the total booking amount.
Photography and Media:
Madlela Safaris reserves the right to use photographs or videos taken during safaris for marketing purposes. Clients who do not wish to appear in media content are kindly requested to refrain from participating in group photographs.
Personal Belongings:
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings at all times. Madlela Safaris accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal items.
Travel Insurance:
Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, evacuation, personal belongings, and accidents.
Passenger Liability Insurance:
Madlela Safaris holds passenger liability insurance covering injuries or partial costs arising from accidents during tours.
Protection of Personal Information:
